»Monkey Business

I love this place - it can happen only in India!

A man drove a minibus with a monkey on his shoulder and as the monkey jumped out of the window it distracted the driver who rammed his vehicle into a house in the capital, police said Thursday.

Kumar Prabhakaran, 22, ran a minibus in west Delhi and the monkey was his regular companion on the bus, a police officer said.

»Don't get fooled!

April Fools Day, sometimes also called All Fools Day, is the day of unknown origin pretty much. Yet, most of the western world knows this is a day set aside for good hearted pranks, hoaxes, gags, and giggles. It is a day that the gullible, well...need to watch out for!

Generally speaking, the day is spent trying to get people to believe in falsehoods or otherwise run a "fools" errand or unnecessary action. Good "fooler's" take advantage and try to get their victim early as possible so that they don't realize they are being fooled.

 Superman has soared back into the record books, reclaiming the title of the highest price paid for a comic.

A copy of the comic in which Superman made his debut was sold at a US auction for $1.5m (£995,500) - weeks after a Batman comic had fetched $1.075m.

»What's got Indian musicians excited?

Well there seems to be a buzz in India and especially in the south among the music community as world famous bassist and composer Victor Wooten is all set to have a special workshop and concert in Bangalore on the 5th of April.

Seems like quite a few people from the rest of the parts of India are going to be flying down to be a part of this music workshop and later experience the awesomeness that is Wooten's bass playing.

It is by no means safe, but can you talk on your cell phone and drive your car safely? Especially if you're driving a stick and not automatic like it is in India.

A very small percentage of the population can safely drive while talking on their cell phones, and there is a slight chance that you could be one of these supertaskers.

American children aren't the only couch potatoes with nearly one third of children globally spending three hours a day or more watching TV or on computers, according to study of over 70,000 teens in 34 nations.

From Argentina to Zambia, Regina Guthold of the World Health Organization in Geneva and her colleagues found most children aren't getting enough exercise and it made no difference if they lived in a rich or a poor country.

»Cricket: Yousuf quits over ban

 it's a shame it's come this way but, former Pakistan captain Mohammad Yousuf has announced he will quit international cricket in protest against an indefinite ban.

"I received a letter from the PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) that my staying in the team is harmful for the team, so I announce my retirement from international cricket," Yousuf announced at the Karachi Press Club.
