Saturday's incidents have made it clear to the IPL board that the environment in Bangalore prevents them from going ahead with plans of holding the IPL semis there.

»Water on the moon..Or so they say

Ice deposits at least 6 feet (2 metres) thick can be found in some small craters on the moon, researchers reported this week in one of two studies showing more evidence of water on the moon and Mars!

The second study suggested that ice has recently melted and re-frozen on Mars, widening some of the characteristic gullies on its surface.

Veteran actor and oscar winner Russell Crowe is all set to make his Bollywood debut. Russel Crowe will take the lead role in Sudipto Sen's Amrit Kumb. The film will also be released in english and titled 'In search of immortality'. Crowe will play a middle aged German writer who comes to India to attain moksha and in the process falls in love with a young Bengali woman played by Paoli Dam. It will be interesting to see if Crowe is able to pick up some Hindi in preparation for the movie.

Called the Aptera, it is an electric drivetrain that is capable of reaching speeds upto 60 mph in 9 seconds when charged fully for about 11 hours.

Indian Premier League Commissioner Lalit Modi was questioned for as long as eight hours over the financial dealings and share holding patterns of the cricketing body as Income Tax officials left his Worli-based office early on Friday.

I-T officials visited IPL Head-Quarters at Wankhede Stadium as also Modi's office at Nirlon House in upmarket Worli, where they quizzed him from 7.15 pm to 3.20 am.
