Flying cars may soon be a reality!

Flying cars have always been something typically reserved for science fiction, but they have now come closer to reality.

The department tasked with exploring the concept, Defense Advanced Projects Agency (DARPA), has cleared the Transformer (TX) program.

The flying vehicle is currently in motion for military services rather than the everyday motorist.

If the vehicle realizes the capabilities planned, it is possible that by the year 2015, U.S. soldiers will have the ability to drive into battle in a flying car, designed to be seated for four, that will go 250 miles on a tank of fuel and be able to fly through the air and drive on the ground.

The Transformer will give troops the ability to avoid traditional and unconventional threats such as ambushes and Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) and road obstructions.

The Pentagon has budgeted 54 million dollars so far to develop the concept.

ADARPA spokesman told TechNewsDaily that it would take four years to develop a working prototype.

"We're not very far down the road. That gives you an idea about the glide path for this program," Live Science quoted him as saying.

Like something out of The Jetsons!  err, or the Dukes of Hazzard?

At the turn of the 21st

At the turn of the 21st century, New Media has become a matter of course and the technology of electronic data processing is constantly being perfected. The promise that all spheres of pass4sure 4A0-103 life will be digitalised and made immaterial seems to have been fulfilled. Just how immaterial is data really? Does it not carry a certain amount of weight, after all? What role does the subject play in the pass4sure 642-972 virtual data space? In this exhibition, the Academy of Media Arts will question the arrival pass4sure 650-180 of the virtual future and, as the exhibition title suggests, expose the pass4sure 1Y0-A06 immaterial as Heavy Matter.

Flying cars

Indeed, it is true flying cars was just a creation of our creative minds yet it is more amazing that it will be created for real. Our technology is open for innovation and that it is not impossible that this flying cars will be present in few years from now. Though we may admit that our economy is so screwed up, we can't keep anything straight and spend so much time changing it nothing has time to sink in. Now the elderly who are wealthy are contemplating suicide in other countries just to keep their wealth in the family rather than the Government.
